Manual board maker vs AI board generator

Pick the one that matches what you walked in with.

Option A

Manual maker (free)

  • You already have the questions in your head
  • You want every clue to be specific (inside jokes, company stuff, classroom material)
  • You enjoy writing — this is the fun part for you
  • You want to save drafts and tweak forever
Option B

AI generator (Plus)

  • You have a topic but no clues yet
  • You need a playable board in under a minute
  • You're fine editing a draft instead of writing from zero
  • You make boards often and don't want to start from blank every time

Frequently asked questions

+What does the board maker actually let me build?

A full game show style board: title, emoji, category names, clue text, the correct answer for each clue and the point value. You decide everything — we just give you the grid and the host controls.

+Can I use my own point values?

Yes. The default ladder is $100 to $500 (or higher for Plus boards), but you can rename, reorder or change the values to fit a tournament, a kids board, or a long-form night.

+Do I need to write all 25 clues before I can play?

No. You can save a draft, walk away, and come back to finish later. Empty cells just won't appear in the game.

+Can I duplicate a board to make a new version?

Yes. Open any saved board and clone it — handy for re-running a classroom review for a new unit, or making a sequel to last year's holiday board.

+How is the manual maker different from the AI generator?

Manual is for when you already know the questions you want — you keep total creative control. The AI generator is for when you have a topic but no clues yet, and want a playable board in seconds. AI generation is a Plus feature.

+Can I keep my board private?

Yes. Boards are private by default. Toggle the public switch when you want to share with the Kleveroo community.
